When he founded his first company – a landscape architecture and design firm – in Melbourne in 1985, Jamie Loft wanted to make sure that the pool’s design and lifestyle came first. In focussing on creating a stylish addition to a family’s outdoor lifestyle, the company was the first in Australia to truly integrate landscape architecture and swimming pool construction.

Jamie’s vision and desire to design stylish additions to a home were responsible for winning the company numerous industry awards and were featured in media not only in Australia and worldwide, including Jamie’s role as a regular outdoor living expert on Channel Nine’s Burke’s Backyard.

With a rapidly growing population and year-round warm weather, Queensland seemed the obvious next step for Jamie and his design vision, so in 2006 he headed north and founded 4Blue on the Sunshine Coast.

While it was a different company and a new beginning, 4Blue continued Jamie’s passion for doing what he does best and using his designs to add value to his clients’ lifestyle and homes.

Jamie’s infectious passion for landscape design and swimming pools is coupled with his devotion to 4Blue’s four key objectives:
