In late 2008 we had a pool built on our property in Mooloolaba by Jamie Loft of 4Blue Pools. We were delighted with the service, professionalism and finally the result – which is nothing less than stunning. The DVD in advance was an excellent investment. It enabled us to work with Jamie and get it ‘just right’ before any work began.
If you saw the DVD today, then looked at our pool, you will see they are one and the same. What a wonderful way to avoid expensive mistakes. The positioning of the pool in our small backyard was a challenge from the start. Most of the excavation rubble had to be removed from the ground by the smallest ‘devil’ (mini bob-cat) and then taken by wheelbarrows to the street.
Jamie works on the principal that the customer is first at all times and virtually nothing is impossible. Our property is positioned onto a large broad-water section of the Mooloolah River and the pool design makes the transition from pool with all round wet edges appear to flow seamlessly into the Broadwater. The additional landscaping work also carried out by Jamie enhanced the pool even further. The ‘In-Floor Cleaning’ is incredible. No skimmer box, no ‘Kreepy Krawley’. Fully automatic effective In-Floor Cleaning. Any pool of this standard should not, in my view, be built without solar. It is a big investment, but worth it. Solar extends the use of the pool throughout the year. The service we had from Jamie Loft and his team was simply outstanding and the after sales service also excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Jamie Loft of 4Blue Pools to anyone considering a high-end pool, as they can expect an outstanding result, which will also add value to the property.

4Blue have just completed our pool on the Sunshine Coast. My family and I are thrilled to bits with the result. We heard of 4Blue through a friend and from our first meeting things felt right. From start to finish the project was managed by the 4Blue team in a very professional and friendly manner. Jamie uses a virtual 3D computer program, which is fantastic because you can see exactly what you are getting but in our case the physical end result was better than what the program displayed.
Jamie has very innovative ideas in regards to all aspects of pool design and the surrounding areas. In regards to the cost, 4Blue were slightly more expensive that the other pool builders that quoted the job but the end result speaks for itself. Quality has no compromise.
We are very happy with the result and honestly feel that this was only achieved by the decision to have the 4Blue team do the project.

We absolutely love the in floor cleaning system, the clean white tiles in the pool, the feature tiles on our wall / platform feature and the overall finished product. Our pool is fabulously easy to maintain and looks great, and our kids simply won’t get out of it!.

Walked in to their office with about 10 pages of pools we liked, that we had collected from magazines over the years, only to find out 9 of them were in fact pools he had designed and built with his former Melbourne pool company. We made an appointment for them to see the site and from the moment we started discussing the what we wanted the idea’s flowed and the information was forthcoming, allot to take in, with in-floor cleaning and all the options, but we were not disappointed, with eth outcome, our pool was in featured in magazine, and definitely made the sale of our home easier. Looks like we will be using them again as soon as we are ready for our next pool.

Being the owner of a one of Australia’s largest home builders, I am no stranger to design and the building industry, I congratulate Jamie and his team on a wonderful result, the attention to detail is evident and the initial design approach was spot on. The project was challenging as it site on the edge of cliff, but the wet / infinity edge is seamless and adds so much WOW factor to our outdoor area.
We don’t get to the house as much as we would like, and its great to know the pool is relatively maintenance free and we can fly up at the drop of a hat and now its swim ready every time. Warm and clean.

To all at 4Blue for your professional attitude, quality of your product, assistance during the building of the pool and the understanding by you all of a client who had a particular design intent. Pete and I are ecstatic with the result and Elliot has just about grown gills and won’t come out of the pool.
I must mention our budget, although tempted to go over it by some of your additional options I must say the advice we received when making these choices, and the add on’s with the landscaping fencing etc, still have come in just over our budget, but we couldn’t be happier, value for money, we are confident we have added value to our home, and not only monetary, we use the pool and surrounds to death, its added great lifestyle value for us.
